Scandinavian Packaging merges with Novio Packaging Group

Plastic lids and caps manufacturer Scandinavian Packaging has merged with Novio Packaging Group.

Novio Packaging Group is a recently established Dutch based group and includes the international distribution companies such as Oosterbeek Packaging, MAER Flexibles, Alpha Packaging International, MAER Hong Kong. and FehnPolycap. The new Novio Packaging Group now covers all segments of the packaging marked and has a global reach.

Scandinavian Packaging will continue its development from the site location in Borup, Denmark. The site will continue to be managed by Hanne Zinck and Bjarke Arlø.

Scandinavian Packaging chief operating officer and partner Hanne Zinck said: “Being able to continue the positive development of our company and at the same time have the support of the Novio Packaging Group is a dream come through.”

Scandinavian Packaging CEO and partner Bjarke Arlø said: “The Novio Packaging Group has so many new products and we can´t wait to introduce them all to our Scandinavian customers.”

Novio Packaging Group directors Marck Jansen and Erik Trum said: “Now that our territorial range also includes Scandinavia, we will be able to achieve even better European coverage.
