Lake Image to showcase inspection solutions at Label Expo 17

Lake Image Systems will showcase its full range of inspection solutions at this month’s Label Expo Europe in Brussels.

The company said that its solutions mainly address the challenges in inspection needs in the conventional and digital label production environments.

With multiple locations across the world, Lake Image Systems designs, develops and manufactures imaging and scanning technologies. Its target clients are label and package printing and converting companies.

During the Label Expo Europe in Belgium, Lake Image will be exhibiting mainly its Discovery platform which is designed to provide powerful, customized solutions for the Label and Packaging industry.

The Discovery platform helps manufactures in automating variable data integrity and requirements in print quality inspection.

According to Lake Image, the Discovery platform which has been designed particularly to focus on the print and label inspection requirements for the food and packaging industry.

Using the Discovery platform, Lake Image says that even at full production speeds, printed variable data like UID, brand protection, loyalty and gaming devices can be monitored automatically and verified.

Lake Image Systems managing director Martin Keats said: “Variable data on labels and packaging is growing rapidly and so incorporating a robust inspection process is now an essential component of many label and packaging production workflows.

“We invite all Label Expo visitors to our booth to explore our full range of inspection solutions based on real-life applications.”

The Discovery platform also delivers quality control, data verification, reporting and traceability enabling tools that can be used for pharmaceutical, security and shipping labels.

Lake Image revealed that the Discovery platform will also be showcased at the booths of some of its partners like Solex and Buskro.
